Position Summary
An exceptional broadcaster with broad local, regional, and national reach is seeking an Advertising Sales Manager for their Western North Dakota and Eastern Montana markets to be based in their Bismarck, ND, offices.

Responsibilities
Focus on Western North Dakota and Eastern Montana markets while growing into a broader role.
Advertising and Sponsorship Sales of the Firm's broadcast and media offerings.
Sell to advertisers seeking rural market penetration.
Engage with advertising agencies to promote station offerings.
Think creatively to identify traditional and non-traditional revenue opportunities.
Review and improve sales processes and workflows.
Train and mentor sales team in cross-platform strategies.
Be a hands-on "player coach" in sales strategy and execution.
Support and lead a respected sales team within a positive company culture.
Call on clients in Agriculture, Energy, Tourism, Government, and Politics.
Achieve 5% to 8% annual growth targets.
Hire staff with strong ties to North Dakota communities.
Promote the company’s reputation as a top employer and community supporter.
Required Experience & Skills
Experience as a player/coach in media advertising sales (broadcast, digital, sponsorship).
Understanding of North Dakota/Eastern Montana business and culture.
Experience working with direct clients and agencies.
Prior success in managing TV sales teams and achieving goals.
Familiarity with media metrics and strategic selling beyond "one-sheets."
Ability to maintain a positive work environment and long-term team culture.
A desire for long-term stability and career growth in media and broadcasting.
